Meditation Incense

The classical sitting companions. Sandalwood, the default meditation incense of Buddhist and Taoist practice — complete, calm, hard to tire of. Agarwood with cedar for long contemplative sits. Acronychia wood, sacred in Taoist ritual. Lotus for practices of release. Each stick burns about forty minutes: one complete session, timed the traditional way — yi zhu xiang, one stick of incense. Consistency builds the cue; light the same stick and the body arrives before the mind does.
