This Blooming Lotus Incense Disc is glazed in celadon — the soft blue-green finish that Chinese potters perfected over a thousand years ago, originally crafted to echo the color of jade. The lotus pattern is pressed into the clay in full bloom, its open petals radiating outward from the center, and the pooling of the glaze gives each line a gentle, almost watercolor depth. Slide a stick of incense into the center hole and watch the smoke drift across the petals like mist settling on a pond at dawn.

Stick placement & ash: The centre opening holds one incense stick upright. The round ceramic surface collects nearby ash, but its 6.6 cm diameter is not a full-length ash tray. Use a larger, heat-resistant ash-catching dish underneath, especially with 21 cm sticks. Check the fit before lighting, and never leave burning incense unattended.
